EUR.1 Movement Certificate
A movement certificate that proves the originating status of goods, allowing exporters to benefit from preferential (reduced or zero) customs duty rates under a free trade agreement.
Example
An exporter shipping textiles to an EU country under a free trade agreement presents an EUR.1 certificate so the buyer pays a reduced duty rate.
